Jobs in the 605 Statewide Virtual Hiring Event
PIERRE, S.D. – The Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR) is hosting a “Spring into Your Next Career” virtual hiring event on Wednesday, March 19, from 2-5 p.m. CDT/1-4 p.m. MDT.
This virtual hiring event is designed to allow job seekers to visit online with employers statewide to learn about their company and open positions and potentially interview on the same day.
Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates statewide or from the Dakota Roots/Freedom Works Here program, benefit from real-time interactions with potential employees, and save time and resources finding skilled employees.
Registration is required for both job seekers and businesses. Visit https://dlr.sd.gov/localoffices/hiring_events/virtual.aspx, find the Statewide Virtual Hiring Event, and click the appropriate registration link.
Although registration is open until the day of the event, early registration is recommended to gain access to user guides and resources on the virtual platform in advance.
Businesses are invited to a recruiter and employer training on Wednesday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. CDT/9:30 a.m. MDT to learn how to use the platform for this event. Once registered, an email invitation will be sent to the email address entered during registration.
All job fairs and hiring events are offered free of charge to businesses and job seekers. The next 605 Statewide Virtual Hiring Event will be on Wednesday, May 21.
